Last Day of School Minute to Win It!

Mrs. Ward and I really wanted to do something fun and different on our last day of school.  We couldn't think of anything off the top of our heads, so we went where any other teacher would go...Pinterest!  I found this Minute to Win It idea on another teacher's blog.  Here are some of the fun and silly games we played...

The first game we played involved getting cotton balls from one plate to another without using your hands.  We put vaseline on everyone's noses and they had to get the cotton ball and then shake it off onto a plate.  The team with the most cotton balls in a minute won.  It was so funny to watch!  We all kept getting the giggles!

The object of the next game was to make a smiley face out of skittles using only a straw.  Everyone was given a straw and they had to use it to grab the skittle and move it onto the other plate.  The first team to make a smiley face out of their skittles in a minute, wins.  (Don't worry, it is physically impossible to suck the skittle up the straw.  So there was no choking hazard!)  :)

The object of the last game we played was to balance as many cheerios as you can on a popsicle stick in your mouth.  This one was very hard and the wind wasn't on our side!

We had so much fun together on our last day!  I can't believe the year is already over!  Words can not express how thankful I am for all the kind words, gifts, supplies, and support you all have given me throughout the year.  You have helped make my first year at Eaton a special one!  I am looking forward to many more!  Please do not be a stranger.  I will always want to know about your child's accomplishments!  Have a great summer!
