Here are a few fun fall activities that we did! We had an apple taste test. We tasted red, yellow, and green apples and chose our favorite.
Then we created an Apple Pie Graph to see which kind of apple was the most popular. Surprisingly yellow apples won! That had never happened before! :)
We also talked about the parts of an apple and made this little craftivity. Don't you just love their inventive spelling?!? Precious!
We made and tasted applesauce! Yum!
We read "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves" and worked on sequencing the events in the story.
We did some fun pumpkin investigations. We came up with words to describe our pumpkin.
We did some pumpkin estimating. We estimated how much it weighed, how big around it was, and how many seeds it had.
After recording our estimations, we opened our pumpkin up!
After we explored the inside of our pumpkin, we came up with words to describe it.
After we scooped out all the seeds, we voted on what kind of face we wanted it to have and we drew in on. I carved it later that afternoon and forgot to get a picture of it! Oops!
To celebrate the end of our fall unit, our room moms organized some fun fall stations! Thank you to everyone who helped out! Check out some pictures below! :)
