Unfortunately I forgot to take a lot of pictures during zoo animals week. Oops!
We were very busy though! We learned about monkeys, zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, alligators, and many more! We did a lot of research using the San Diego Zoo Kids website. They had a lot of great information, videos, and photos. We took the information we learned and organized it on tree maps. Then we used the tree maps to make a Zoo Animals book. I hope your child shared their book with you!
We also compared zoo animals to each other. Here is a venn diagram we filled out comparing giraffes and zebras.
We had a great time being zoologists for the week! :)
